To raise funds for Mauritian Wildlife Foundation after a Japanese tanker ran aground on a coral reef July 2020, LUX* Resorts teamed up with photographer Mark Read to sell photographic prints. Th sunset image, pictured, was actually part of a shoot for a magazine I edited. Since 1985, the charity has been working to restore the 26-hectare Ile Aux Aigrette into a coastal forest — an ecosystem and reserve now under serious threat.
